"Kaysen" I heard Brett speaking softly in my ear, "Wake up. Its morning" I stirred and opened my eyes to see my best friend/meal in the world. He must like being human, because he always looked like his human self: long dirty blond hair, with gold streaks. He looked really handsome, but I like his true form better.
My name is Kaysen. I am an Arbok that, as Brett says, has a big heart. And I agree with him; I am very sweet and kind, but that doesn't mean I don't have my more devious side.
"Good morning," I said to him. He just woke up in my coils I wrapped around him last night and sent him to my, how should I put this term nicely; bed.
"Morning." He replied, stroking my cheek. He then looked around for Conner. I turned my head to help him. We searched the place, but he was nowhere to be found. "Where is he?" Brett asked.
"I don't know." I replied. "Wait. Can't you search for people's presence or something?"
"Oh yeah." He said. His face started to blush, probably feeling embarrassed. He closed his eyes, scanning, searching or Conner. His eyes opened. "Found him."
"Where is he?" I asked. He pointed to his left.
"Could you help me up, Kaysen?" he asked.
"Sure," I replied. I released my grip except for one coil around his exposed chest and lifted him to his feet.
"Thanks," he said. He turned on his heel and walked towards Conner. I followed him.
He did walk in his own eccentric way. He acted like he wanted to. He always said that. I didn't mind doing that, in fact, that is one of the many reasons I like him. I thought of something. "Brett?" I said.
"Yes," he replied. He knew my language, so I decided to ask him in it.
"I would like it if you were just yourself, not hiding behind that human you once were," I hissed in my language.
He replied in my language. "Oh ok. The only reason why I look human is because I miss always looking like that. It reminds me of a more simple time, a time I have mixed feelings about. Now, I guess you're right. I should look like who I am and not what I once was." And with that, he changed into his true form: a Mewtwo with a darker gray skin with a green tail and stomach. He still had 5 fingers but no toes and his shorts were still there. "That ok?" he asked.
"Perfect," I said in English.
"Thank you," he said and turned to, again walk toward Conner.
The forest soon began to fade and a wide-open meadow showed. There wasn't a tree to be seen except for one in the middle of it all. There were flowers starting to bloom. It was gorgeous.
Brett continued to walk towards the tree and I continued to follow, and as soon as we reached it, we saw the sleeping figure of Conner, the Gallade. He looked kind of cute asleep.
"Should we wake him?" Brett asked. I looked at him
"I don't think so," I replied. "I think we should let him sleep."
"Ok," Brett said. He walked towards the blooming flowers. "The flowers are pretty," he said.
"They are, aren't they," I said. Brett grabbed a black rose and raised it to his nose and smelled it.
"I only know roses of two colors, red and white. A red rose shows that love is there and at its peak. A white rose shows of love that is hollow and is missing. But a black rose is the most mysterious of all roses. It shows that love is the most difficult thing to find. The true way to find love is for it to find you," he said, poetically.
"Wow, you have a great way with words," I said, sniffing a flower.
"Yeah, I did have a way of making it more poetic," he said. The smile on his face soon faded. "She would have liked it too," he said, depressed.
"Hey, stop dragging your feet on the past. You have us now," I said.
The smile stuck to his face yet again. "You're right. It is just memories," he said excitedly.
There is the Brett I know and love! I smiled, "That was quick," He smiled and turned to see Conner right in his face. Both stood motionlessly.
"I see you found the meadow that I found as well," Conner said.
"We also found you asleep," I said, "You looked kind of cute."
Conner said nothing of the sort. "I only saw the sunrise," he said.
"That is odd. Why do you watch the sunrise?" Brett asked.
"Yeah, you always watch the sunset, and when you do, you're with us," I said, confused.
"I woke up from a bad dream before you did and I stared to wander the forest and found this meadow," he said, gesturing to the field. "So I decided to see the sunrise and I must have fallen asleep doing so."
"Oh, that explains it," Brett said, rubbing the back of his neck. I felt embarrassed as well.
"Anyway, it is a beautiful meadow, isn't it?" Conner said.
"Very," Brett and I said at the same time. I looked at him and was surprised. We smiled and Brett then said, "I'm loved."
"Well, what can we do to pass the time?" I asked.
"Blind-mans bluff" he yelled.
"What?" Conner and I said almost simultaneously.
"Blind man's bluff is a game I used to play with my brother. It was really fun and it is good to play when you know your opponent," he explained.
"Ok," I said. "How do you play?"
"Well, one person is blindfolded and the other is not. The "blind" person blocks the other's attack. The winner is when the blind person knocks his opponent off his or her feet, or the other way around. Do you get it?" he said.
"I think so," I answered truthfully, "I don't think I can play."
"I can," Conner said.
"Good, all we need is one person blindfolded," Brett continued. "I can be the blind man."
"But don't you need a blindfold?" I asked. I felt silly. Brett always had a way of making use of something, but he said, "You're right, we could use a blindfold. But, we need to make sure one of us can't see. So, yeah, we need one. Conner, would you
"Sure, what does it look like?" he asked?
"It's a piece of fabric that wraps around your head," Brett explained.
"Ok," he closed his eyes and a fabric thing appeared in his hand. "Is this it?"
"Yep, that is it," he said, grabbing the cloth and wrapping it around his head. "Perfect fit!"
"Then let's get started," Conner said.
"Yes, let's play Blind-man's Bluff," Brett said.
I watched the 2 as they hit each other and blocked a few hits as well. I didn't want to play, but that didn't mean I wouldn't watch. They looked cool playing around. Brett looked more handsome in my opinion.
I relaxed in the shade of the tree and continue to watch them. They were really good at this. I smiled and closed my eyes and took a nap.
"I win!" I heard Brett say after a while. I opened my eyes and saw Conner on the ground and Brett taking off the blindfold.
"Wow!" I mouthed to myself. I looked at where the sun was. It was near sunset, late in the evening.
"That was fun," Conner said, "and long."
"Very," I heard Brett say. He was covered in sweat and so was Conner. They didn't see me yet, and a thought popped into my head; devious thought that made my mouth water. I pretended to sleep, waiting for night to come.
"Wow, it was a long time! Kaysen's asleep." Conner said.
"Yeah, but it was a fun time, wasn't it?" Brett said.
"A very fun time" Conner said. "Well lets watch the sunset."
"I don't know. I think I would go to sleep right now." Brett said.
"Oh well. Do what you want, I'll be here watching the sunset."
"Ok" I felt a pair of moist arms wrap around my head and I heard the hissing language I knew so well, "Good night" it said in Brett's sweet voice. I felt a pair of Brett's lips kiss my head. That was very sweet of him. I felt his arms let go and I felt a head on my coils. Good night Brett, I thought.
I opened my eyes. Night was here and, sure enough, the two were fast asleep. I looked at the full moon, it glowed bright enough for a snake like me, to see where I was going. It was really pretty, absolutely gorgeous. Now's my chance, I thought. I carefully removed myself from under Brett's head, without waking him. It worked.
I silently slithered over to where Conner was laying. I opened my mouth, unhinged my jaw, and wrapped it around his head and shoulders. I immediately tasted his flavor. The great flavor was increased by his dried sweat. He woke up and put up a great fight, even though it was useless. Nudging Conner in his sleep, he wont wake up, but drenching him with, in this case, saliva, he will wake up, almost instantly. His struggle made him sweat again, adding more of his unique flavor. I passed his hips and legs kicked in all directions, but with half energy. He knew it was me because, even though he was incredibly strong, he knew who it was when he wakes up. I passed his knees. I felt him getting tired, so I decided to use my forked tongue to tickle his feet to make him squirm. It worked
I finally finished him completely. He started to lose energy, but I didn't care. I felt him enter my stomach with a wet squish, then I realized something odd: he didn't yell or scream or anything. He must have known or wanted this to happen. Oh well, note to self: try and make sure no sound escapes you.
I then slithered over to the sleeping body of Brett, the mewtwo thing. I stared at him; he looked so natural and peaceful, almost as if he was dead, but I knew he wasn't. I coiled around him and he smiled; he always seemed to like it when I coiled around him. After all, he always woke up there.
I opened my mouth and surrounded Brett's head in it. He woke up and struggled greatly, or at least tried to, since I held him still. I remembered my note to self and suppressed his yell of surprise and continued passed his shoulders. He tasted even better than Conner, mostly because he was covered in dried sweat as well, increasing his taste greatly.
I passed his upper torso and reached his abdomen, greatly defined and covered in dried sweat. I took my forked tongue; anxious for a taste, and licked it over and over.
As I tasted him, he began to struggle and squirm even more, making him sweat adding more of his flavor. I knew he was ticklish there, that was the best thing about him, but that wasn't his only spot that was ticklish.
I swallowed again and again, reaching his waist. His feet were kicking like mad and his tail was moving in all sorts directions, but none hit me. He knew it was me.
I swallowed and gulped again and again and again, reaching his knees. He continued to struggle; he knew it would please his best friend. I reached his ankles and tickled his feet with my forked tongue. He struggled even more, and then I reached the end of his tail. I opened my mouth and tilted my head back, letting him slide down my throat. I closed my mouth and finished him off with a gulp.
His struggles made it so enjoyable, he knew me so well; he must have been a psychic type. I felt him enter my stomach with an almost audible squelch. He always had a lot of energy, which is why he didn't calm down until he stopped in my stomach.
That's one way to wake us up, a thought popped in my head. That was odd, it wasn't mine.
Along with me, another one said. I smiled
"more like switching beds" I said. "anyway, comfy?"
Very, said one which I am guessing is Conner's
Without a doubt in the world, said the other which I know is Brett. I am proud to be your friend, it continued.
"Me too, Brett" I said, licking their combined flavors from my lips. "Me too."
I coiled around the bulge the pair made and rested my head on it. I listened to the muffled voice that said "good night."
"Good night, my delicious friends" I replied and closed my eyes to sleep through the night. Under my protection, no one would dare hurt them when I am around.
